Meet the RC Board

  • Nico Motta

    PRESIDENT

Nico is a Senior at Baker College studying Business and Data Science. He joined RC sophomore fall, and has loved having the opportunity to work on projects that deliver real value to our clients!

“I think of the Rice Consulting President as having 3 hats: Strategy, Management, and Leadership.

Strategy starts at the very beginning - developing the annual strategic vision for RC. That then turns into developing a leadership team to make it a reality. During the year, it’s making smaller strategic decisions about where we invest resources, how we implement ideas, and what the future of RC should look like.

Management is all about keeping the wheels turning. It’s helping with client sourcing, analyst recruiting, talking to Team Leads about their projects, and making sure the executive team has the support they need to stay excited and execute effectively.

Leadership comes in two big ways, public and personal. As the public face of Rice Consulting, it’s a lot of hosting recruiting events, meeting with consulting firms and clients, and working with organizations across campus to promote and develop RC. In a much more personal way, it’s providing mentorship and guidance to individuals, and keeping RC members feeling supported and inspired.”
